Today I had a shoot for Cartoon Network. They just recently re-branded the network in collaboration with Kid Robot (the world standard for vinyl toys). The idea is that these “Noods”, or “blank” characters, can absorb the look/color/attitude of any other object, shape, or character. Kid Robot had hand-painted these 8″ tall figurines for them, and both they and CN, needed some high-quality images of these beauts’ before they get all banged up.![]()
I constructed a DIY Macro Studio soft box, (as seen on the Strobist blog) and used one bare 580EX II at 1/16th to light it. Here are some wieners!

That’s it for now! Many more posts to upload during the break ( I know, we’ve been slacking lately, *pant *pant ). Wishing everyone a safe, and relaxing, long weekend!
Happy Shooting!
Edit: The Noods just invaded NotCot, and Vinyl Pulse! We’re very proud, for we’re definite long-time fans!![]()

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session with two of our very close friends, Lexi and Vincent. They are two of the nicest, most genuine, and talented people around, and are always a blast to shoot with. Very comfortable in front of the lens and always up for trying something a little more non-traditional, and fun. These are a few of our favorites so far, check back for updates. Enjoy!

Matt finally popped the question!
Matt & Anchi announced that they will finally be getting married in their home state of Texas in April. They contacted us right away to shoot their engagement session, as they wanted to get out some Save-the-Date cards ASAP to spread the good news. They wanted to do a stylized version of a photo-booth session, and have the front be covered in “candid” photos of the both of them, separately and together. The shoot went so well, and they were more than a pleasure to work with. Tons of energy, and LOTS of love. Final product coming soon, but for now, here are a few of our winners. Enjoy!
