Today I had a shoot for Cartoon Network. They just recently re-branded the network in collaboration with Kid Robot (the world standard for vinyl toys). The idea is that these “Noods”, or “blank” characters, can absorb the look/color/attitude of any other object, shape, or character. Kid Robot had hand-painted these 8″ tall figurines for them, and both they and CN, needed some high-quality images of these beauts’ before they get all banged up.![]()
I constructed a DIY Macro Studio soft box, (as seen on the Strobist blog) and used one bare 580EX II at 1/16th to light it. Here are some wieners!

The Whole Gang!
That’s it for now! Many more posts to upload during the break ( I know, we’ve been slacking lately, *pant *pant ). Wishing everyone a safe, and relaxing, long weekend!
Happy Shooting!
Edit: The Noods just invaded NotCot, and Vinyl Pulse! We’re very proud, for we’re definite long-time fans!![]()
